Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
TapSpan is an iPhone app for capturing moments and tracking activities. This policy describes how the current version of the app handles information.
Information stored on your device
The app stores the moments and activity records you create, including timestamps, names, categories, tags, notes, timer settings, and voice notes. It also stores your language, time display, and notification preferences. App data is stored locally on your device and shared with TapSpan’s widgets and controls through an iOS App Group.
Microphone and notifications
TapSpan asks for microphone permission only when you start a voice note. Recordings are saved locally with the related moment. If you allow notifications, TapSpan can schedule local countdown alerts. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings.
Data sharing
The current app does not require an account, upload your records or recordings to a TapSpan server, or include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. The TapSpan website does not ask for your app data.
Delete your data
You can remove individual voice notes in the app. Moments and activities moved to Recently Deleted remain stored locally so you can restore them; the current version does not have an in-app control to permanently empty Recently Deleted. To remove all TapSpan data from the device, delete the app. Device backups may retain copies according to your iOS backup settings.
Website visits
When you visit this website, the server may process standard request information, such as your IP address, requested page, browser details, and time of access, to deliver the pages and maintain basic server security. The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Changes and questions
If the app’s data practices change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. For privacy questions, email support@chinahappens.com or see the support page.
